FAQs

What is the best legal structure for starting a new business in Pakistan — Private Limited Company or LLP?

The right structure depends on your business size, funding plans, and risk appetite. A Private Limited Company is generally the best choice for most startups and growth-oriented businesses because it offers strong limited liability protection, higher credibility with banks and investors, and easier access to future capital. An LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) is ideal for small professional firms, consultants, or family businesses as it provides flexibility, lower compliance costs, and simpler management. We help you compare both options and choose the structure that best supports your long-term vision.

How long does it take to incorporate a company or LLP in Pakistan, and what is the cost?

Incorporation is now fully online through SECP’s eServices portal. A Private Limited Company or LLP can typically be incorporated in 3 to 7 working days if all documents are complete. The government fee is very reasonable (depending on authorised capital), and our professional fee includes name approval, memorandum & articles of association, director filings, and complete post-incorporation support. We ensure a smooth, hassle-free process so you can focus on launching your business.

What documents are required to start a company or LLP?

The key documents include CNIC/NICOP of directors/partners, proof of registered office address, and a few basic forms. For a Private Limited Company you also need details of shareholders and initial capital. We prepare and review all documents, including Memorandum & Articles of Association, to ensure they are professionally drafted and fully compliant. Most clients are surprised at how simple the process becomes once we handle the paperwork.

Do I need a physical office to register my company, or can I work from home?

You do not need a commercial office. A residential address is perfectly acceptable as your registered office for both companies and LLPs. Many of our clients successfully start and run their businesses from home or a co-working space in the initial years. We help you choose a compliant address and draft the necessary declarations so your registration is accepted without any issues.

What are the ongoing compliance requirements after incorporation?

After incorporation, you must file annual returns, hold board/shareholder meetings, maintain proper books of accounts, and comply with tax and labour regulations. We provide a complete compliance calendar and optional “Corporate Secretary” retainer so you never miss a deadline. Our clients receive timely reminders and professional support, giving them peace of mind while they focus on growing their business.
